Admission – Eligibility
Play Group (PG)
Age 3 years
Kindergarten (KG)
Age 3-4 years
Kindergarten (KG II)
Age 4-5 years
Class 1 to 4
Children must be above age 5 but under age 6 on 1st March of the year of admission.
For each successive class, a year should be added to the age.
Class 5 to 8
Children must be aged 9 – 10 on 1st March of the year in which they seek admission to Class 5. For each successive class, a year should be added.
Class 9 to 10
Children entering Class 9 must have passed their 13th birthday by 1st March of the year of admission
Assessment / Admission Test
An informal individual assessment test is taken combined with an interview with both the parents. Generally, the reading level of a child, the vocabulary and concepts of colors and numbers are assessed. In addition, the confidence of the child, the level of spoken English and motor skills are taken into consideration.
Application for Class I -4 are tested in following subject
- Math
- English
- Urdu
The pass percentage is 50%. Duration of each paper is approximately 30 minutes. For the written test, the child should come properly equipped with pencil, eraser, sharpener and ruler The papers are not set from any specific textbooks or syllabus but are of a general nature designed to test the aptitude of the child in the basic subjects. The test paper is not shown to anyone and only marks are communicated to the parents/ guardians A candidate caught cheating during the admission test will be rejected In all cases, merit is the sole criterion for admission. The decision of the school cannot be challenged in any way and will be final.
